CLA is made from linoleic acid (LA), which is part of a family of isomers found in CLA. CLA fatty acids are also called CLA isomers. CLA is primarily found in certain meats, dairy products, and other foods. And, because the body does not produce this fatty acid, it must be obtained through diet or supplementation. Research shows that when the amount of CLA in the diet is increased, CLA levels in the body's tissues also increase, which can help maintain weight. CLA 3000 provides active CLA from safflower seed oil. In addition to being effective, research shows that CLA is safe when used as directed. CLA provides 3000 mg of pure safflower seed oil, providing 75-85% active CLA per serving. For best results, take two softgels twice daily with meals as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
